FXX Launching New Late Night Animation Block January 22nd

Can’t sleep on a Thursday night? Need some animated comedy? FXX is bringing a new late night animation block to the network starting on Thursday, January 22nd. Every Thursday, FXX will premiere new episodes of “Lucas Bros. Moving Co.” and “Stone Quackers” at 12 am et.

“Lucas Bros. Moving Co.” features Keith and Kenny Lucas in animated form. They inherit their uncle’s van and start a Brooklyn moving business. They hang with their best friend Jerrod voiced by Jerrod Carmichael, Jake the Snake Roberts, and their mom whose voice is supplied by Hannibal Buress.

“Stone Quackers” is about the lives of a couple of ducks, Whit and Clay voiced by Whitmer Thomas and Clay Tatum. There’s also Officer Barry played by the show’s executive producer, John C. Reilly.

FXX will do a New Year’s Day kick off leading up to the January 22nd launch of the new animated hour. Starting on Wednesday, December 31st, FXX will run a 29 hour “Simpsons” marathon starting with the premiere and finale episode of each “Simpsons” season and ending with “The Simpsons Movie”. That will be followed by a sneak peek of the new animation hour featuring “Lucas Bros. Moving Co.” and “Stone Quackers”, plus showings of “High School USA!”, “Axe Cop” and other animated shorts.
