Coming Soon: A Most Dangerous Year

In a last minute announcement, the organized crime movie “A Most Dangerous Year” is coming to limited theaters this December for Oscar consideration. Top of the list for consideration is probably Oscar Isaac as a crime boss (nominated for the Best Actor from Gotham Independent Awards) and Jessica Chastain as his wife in what looks refreshingly dark. But perhaps the biggest name in the movie who doesn’t even get play in the trailer is Isaac’s “Drive” costar Albert Brooks. The 80s set movie looks sufficiently moody and violent (of course) from the director of last year’s survival drama “All is Lost”.
