FSU Held An #AskJameis Twitter Q&A. It Did Not Go Well

Let’s face it: public relations folks don’t understand Twitter. Someone with common sense would know not to hold a Twitter Q&A with the star athlete of a college football program that’s in a sport with very radical fanbases. They’d also know it’d be a bad idea if he ever once shoplifted crab legs from a Publix. And they’d sure as he’ll never do such a thing if that athlete was the center of a mishandled rape investigation by Tallahassee police.

But then there’s Florida State, who held a Jameis Winston Q&A. You’d think a program that has its own homegrown #FSUTwitter movement to attack unflattering comments would know better. But alas, they didn’t, and now some FSU PR hack is probably unemployed.
