New policy for CNN’s New Years Eve Broadcast– no drinking allowed. Except that Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper will still be allowed to drink.

So basically Don “Hard Lemonade” Lemon is banned from drinking.

Lori Lightfoot’s new ad has spurred a flood of criticism, with many calling for the mayor to “resign in disgrace.” In the ad Lightfood says she was “cool” during COVID and “delivered” more jobs. Critics complain that crime is rampant in Chicago and this is no time to be handing out self adulation.

This is stupid. Chicago’s been in a crime crisis since the 1920s and nobody in Chicago is cool.
