Fred Armisen Joins “Zoolander 2”
Fred Armisen is off the Rome! In an Instagram video he posted, he’s seen packing for Italy as he joins the cast of the Ben Stiller comedy sequel “Zoolander 2” which is shooting in Europe. Fortunately, Fred’s bosses Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers realize these things come up and give the Late Night band leader plenty of time for pet projects.
Armisen joins a cast in the film about the continuing adventures of a ridiculously good looking male super model that already includes, Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor, Kristen Wiig, Penélope Cruz, Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West and Will Ferrell returning as evil designer / international terrorist Mugatu. The movie is being directed Ben Stiller and written by Justin Theroux.
Ben Stiller who is back in front of the camera for the sequel as Derek Zoolander, retweeted Fred’s video and welcomed him to the cast. “Zoolander 2” is in production now and according to the Hollywood Reporter is scheduled to premiere Friday, Febuary 12th, 2016.
