Amazon Studios announced today that Spike Lee's next joint, Chi-Raq, is going to be released as an Amazon original, and is in fact, the first-ever Amazon Original Movie produced. The plan is to release Chi-Raq in theaters with an early opportunity for Amazon Prime subscribers to see the film.
Last night, Dan Aykroyd tweeted that he was on set for Paul Feig's new Ghostbusters reboot. He said that he was excited to be filming his scene with Kristen Wiig for the upcoming film. Aykroyd deleted the tweet shortly after, but it sent Twitter into a tailspin. His representatives have confirmed that Aykrod will appear in the film. No word on his exact role.
Comic Con's a huge weekend for comic book movie trailers and two of them were recorded on phones and uploaded to the internet. Deadpool, starring Ryan Reynolds, and Suicide Squad, starring Will Smith and Jared Leto, both got the bootleg treatment. Earlier this week it was announced at Comic Con that Ben Affleck will become the first of all the actors who portrayed the super hero to write, direct and star in an upcoming standalone Batman movie. Hopefully he'll also help the lighting, costuming, location scouting, catering, and coat check.

CGI artists have gone mad with power and now that entire scenes are comprised completely of CGI, they end up looking faker. Inserting CGI characters into a real setting will always look more realistic than a entire green screen environment. So now you know why everything sucks now.
