Eighteen Million People Watch Roseanne Reboot

The Roseanne revival is a smash hit. After being somewhat of a persona non-gratis in the industry for two decades, Roseanne is now a moneymaker. Roseanne is now the highest rated sitcom broadcast in years, guaranteeing a few things- a second season, some expensive contract negotiations, and a lot more sitcom revivals. Reboots were already doing well with sitcom offerings from Will & Grace, the Full House crew and upcoming Murphy Brown revival in the works. Even outside the sitcom world, American Idol returned, Battle of the Network Stars, Match Game, The Jokers Wild, Love Connection, Queer Eye, Cash Cab, Showtime at the Apollo and The Gong Show all returned to tv, albeit with much less success than Roseanne and crew.
Take twenty years off and people are ready to see ya again. Trump loving Roseanne is the recipe the Donald needs for 2020. Mad About You is already buzzing a comeback and Hollywood suits are checking to see how many Beverly Hillbillies are still alive.
