Last night, Eddie Izzard was a guest on James Corden’s Late Late Show, and he’s about to make you feel really really stupid and lazy. Izzard is learning the languages of the world, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic. No language is too hard. And he says it’s not that hard. Kids learn languages. You never go to a country where there are people who couldn’t learn the language and spend their lives pointing, it just takes practice. Then of course there’s the problem of learning to be funny in that language, but luckily Russell Crowe is on hand to offer some advice for Australia. If you swear, it’s fucking funny.
