Disney Releasing New Robin Williams Footage With Aladdin Blu-Ray

The Today Show shared some sneak peeks at the new Aladdin Blu-Ray that has never before seen footage, outtakes and behind the scenes moments of Robin Williams working on his character Genie and lost characters that didn’t make the film. The 1992 movie changed the way animated movies are made, largely due to Williams performance in the film. Later in the clip you can watch the team behind creating Aladdin talk about Robin’s role in the film. It was revealed that Robin would work tirelessly for four hours at a clip, and would end up drenched in sweat after recording sessions.

Disney is releasing Aladdin in a Diamond Edition Blu-ray combo pack on October 13.
