Denis Leary Jane Lynch Separated at Birth

Denis Leary has a new show about to debut, “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” on FX Networks where he plays an aging rock star.  Last night on The Tonight Show he made it very clear that it’s no fun to dress like a rock star, which sounds crazy.  He said he’s freezing from his waste up, it’s a thousand degrees ‘below the equator’ and he can’t find his keys. Well Denis, maybe if you tried this a few years ago, you might be enjoying it more, and you can go a little less shimmery gold in the rock star image.

But the real reason he doesn’t like dressing like a rock star is because on his first date of shooting, he was mistaken for Jane Lynch by a fan who wanted an autograph.  Not Mick, not Bowie,  Jane Lynch.  And not Party Down Jane Lynch– Glee Jane Lynch.  But Jane Lynch isn’t a bad person to be compared to. It could have been worse, she could have mistaken him for Goldmember.

“Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” premieres Thursday, July 16th at 10pm et on FX.
