DEFCON 1 Called On Armond White

The New York Film Critics Circle Awards has called together an emergency meeting on January 13th in response to Armond White’s heckling of Steve McQueen. “It amazes me that we have members who are so self-serving, they would sacrifice the decorum of the group … solely to satisfy their egos” wrote chairman Joshua Rothkopf in a mass e-mail. Armond, it might be a good idea to pack a bag and get out of town for a few days.
