David Letterman Remembers Joan Rivers

Last night on The Late Show David Letterman remembered the late great Joan Rivers who was an indefatigable pioneer in the business. He paid tribute to her incredible talent, her work ethic, and guts like you wouldn’t believe. He remembered her unapologetic commitment to the idea that these are just jokes people, grow up. He also talked about her writing achievements and her commitment to her daughter and grandson. “The force and power of her comedy,” he said, “was overwhelming.”
