Dave Attell and Jeffrey Ross: Two Giants, Bumping Mics on Tour

Jeffrey Ross announced on Wednesday that he and Dave Attell are going on tour with their Bumping Mics show.  Both comedians are giants in the business, masters of crowd work, improvising on stage, and stand up in all its forms and now they’re going to be performing together around the country.

Starting off in Lake Tahoe Nevada on March 17, they’ll hit up seven cities altogether including Red Bank New Jersey, Bethlehem Pennsylvania, Atlantic City New Jersey, Seattle Washington, Portland Oregon and Las Vegas. The dates run from March 17 through mid June.

Bumping Mics debuted at Just for Laughs in Montreal this year, and we were there to see these long-time friends take the stage in a show that included drop-ins from their celebrity comedy friends, as well as the two co-headliners riffing off one another and actually bumping mics.  Here’s what our own Sara Dahms had to say about the show’s JFL debut:

Jeff’s ability to roast and work the stage combined with Dave’s unparalleled wit and ability to write jokes made this a show worth traveling all the way from Chicago to see. One can only hope that their showcase at this festival is only the beginning for this gem of a show! Don’t miss it!!!

Crowd work, roasting, sing-alongs, celebrity drop-ins, stand up, and most likely anything Dave and Jeff feel like doing.
