Leading comfortably against a rival, St. Clairsville (Ohio) running back Michael Ferns broke free and was on his way to a certain touchdown, but he stepped out of bounds at the opponents’ 1. He wanted freshman teammate Logan Thompson to get the score.
At least the opposing team was terrible and didn’t just let the guy get the TD.
