Here’s a sketch from Saturday Night Live that didn’t make the cut from dress rehearsal to the live broadcast. It’s all about the uncomfortability of having to do the Channel 4 Rise and Smile Show in St. Louis in the wake of the Ferguson protests.
Hosts Kip and Jenny would rather do a best-of, but they’re live and no matter what they do, everything sounds racist. Even a cooking segment brings up bad feelings about the grand jury decision in the Ferguson case. That will happen when you only use the whites of the eggs.
