It’s a tug of war between the original hipster and new hipster for friends. A childless couple on the verge of middle age (Naomi Watts and Ben Stiller) sense they are losing their friends (Beastie Boy’s Adam Horowitz and Orange is the New Black’s Maria Dizzia) to their new baby. Feeling lost in a world of new parents, they befriend youngsters (Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried), who are the walking talking poster children of Brooklyn Hipsters. But Driver might not be the free-spirited protege filmmaker documentarian Stiller initially thinks he is, especially when he also befriends Watts’s father, Charles Grodin in his long awaited return to the screen.
