Delco Gets a Show!!! Three Friends From Rough Philly ‘Hood Moving To Comedy Central

Comedy Central Goes Delco
Comedy Central discovered Delaware County — and they like the looks of the place. The network has unveiled their newest show, Delco Proper. Today, Delco became available for streaming exclusively on CC’s website. Comedy Central describes the series as Three best friends from a rough blue-collar neighborhood in Philadelphia struggling to avoid trouble and make a name for themselves in a city where the odds are stacked against them.
The series stars Philly comedians Tommy Pope, John McKeever, and Tim Butterly. Together, the trio formed the filmed comedy group Deer Prom.
Just last fall when Tommy Pope was a finalist in New York’s Funniest contest at Caroline’s on Broadway, radio host and contest judge Ron Bennington praised Pope’s performance predicting a future “beyond the stand-up stage, crossing over to television and other digital media platforms.” John McKeever is a writer and director as well as performer, and fun fact, he has a fat dog.
