Colin Quinn Talks Bad Impressions, Getting Banned From a Warzone and Working With Seinfeld On Late Night

Last night on Late Night With Seth Myers, Colin Quinn was hanging out and dropped some knowledge. Normally you learn 1 or 2 things from celebrities late night talk show experiences, but Colin is so generous, he gave us six. Here’s what we learned.
He talked about Trainwreck– he says he tried to get out of playing Amy Schumer’s dad but unfortunately he just crushed the audition and couldn’t get out of it.
He talked about working with Jerry Seinfeld on his one man show “New York Stories” in New York City– he says Seinfeld is a taskmaster and should almost be wearing those 1930’s style jodphur pants with all his OCDS.
He’s been banned from Afghanistan for joking about local culture during a USO tour.
He can’t do impressions, see, e.g. Norm Macdonald and Artie Lange.
Colin’s Webseries Cop Show is getting a second season and Seth Meyers is committed.
And book reviews no longer matter, it’s all about Amazon book commenters, who are all enemies and saboteurs, and people you didn’t give enough time to after one of your shows.
