Stephen Colbert Travels Deep Into the Woods to Find…Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert

Miss the your old Comedy Central hour? Last night CBS’s Late Show gave you a little trip down memory lane with visits from The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, and the Colbert Report’s Stephen Colbert.
Last night as part of his Republican National Convention coverage, Stephen Colbert needed to make sense of the current Presidential election, so he traveled through forage and forest to find the secluded rugged cabin home of an old friend, to get help. He finds Jon Stewart, in seclusion, beardy, wearing a robe, and blissfully unaware of who is running for President. A few spit takes later Stewart and Colbert are trading back and forth a few “that Donald Trump!?”s and it feels like old times. But Stewart isn’t the only person he finds hiding in the Comedy Central cabin. Turns out Stewart is sharing his solitude with another old friend, S.C.’s alter ego, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert. The character Stephen Colbert. Yes, that Stephen Colbert.
While Stewart couldn’t be persuaded to leave his quiet log cabin life, the Comedy Central Colbert grabbed his Captain America shield, and raced to the stage to make his Late Show with Stephen Colbert debut, to talk about Democracmy and Trumpiness. “Hello Nation, did you miss me? I did,” the Colbert Report host said to the audience, before getting into this Trumpologue, adding, “It’s time to say aloha to Stephen Colbert, and aloha to Stephen Colbert.
Confused enough? Watch the clips.
The Colbert Report…errrr, Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be live at the RNC all week
