Cleveland Indians Are Getting Rid of Chief Wahoo…Sort Of

Starting in 2019, the Cleveland Indians will be removing their mascot since 1947, Chief Wahoo from their uniforms when their city hosts the All-Star game. He won’t be completely gotten rid of though, he’ll be on jerseys all throughout the 2018 season and the team will still sell his merch around town. So now they’ll still profit from racism, but just not on the field.
