Church Rejects Offer To Sell Property For New Falcons Stadium

A 151 year old church in Atlanta is not accepting the city’s offer of $13.5 million to sell its property so it can be demolished to build the new Falcons stadium. The church entered a counterproposal of $24.54 million. The congregation was hoping to have enough money to build a new church with a retractable steeple.
