Judd Apatow has a new book coming out this June and he’s just released the book cover art for it. So, now you’ll know what to look for in bookstores and online.

“Sick In The Head: Conversations About Life and Comedy” by Judd Apatow is out on Tuesday, June 16th. The cover features an emoji styled illustration that Apatow told Mashable, covers the range of his emotions. He said, “I love this cover because, sadly, it captures most of my personality. Fire and tears. Maybe that would have been a better title for the book!”

The book is a collection of conversations that Judd Apatow has had with people like Mel Brooks, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Roseanne, Harold Ramis, Louis CK, Chris Rock, Steve Martin and Lena Dunham. Those conversations include what it takes to make it in the comedy world, plus what’s described as “back-of-the-club stories that comics tell one another when no one else is watching”. Apatow said, “My hope is that this book might inspire some kid who is sitting in his room looking at weird Funny Or Die videos, the way I used to sit in front of the TV and tape SNL with an audio recorder before the Betamax was invented.”

“Sick In The Head” also follows Judd Apatow’s own journey into comedy which started when he was 15 and washing dishes in the back of his local comedy club just so he could see as much free stand up as he could and soak it all in. From there, the book goes through Apatow’s career as one the country’s favorite TV and screen writers and directors.

Judd Apatow’s “Sick In The Head: Conversations About Life and Comedy” is available online and in bookstores on Tuesday, June 16th. And after that, his latest film “Trainwreck” starring and written by Amy Schumer is in theaters everywhere on Friday, July 17th.
