CBS Announces Sitcoms Getting Another Season

Out of “2 Broke Girls”, “Mike & Molly” and “Mom”, which of these CBS sitcoms have been renewed for another season? The answer is all of them. The network announced sweeping renewals for its television comedy division.

“2 Broke Girls” starring Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs and Garrett Morris is coming back for its 5th season. The sitcom will also makes its debut in syndication later this year when reruns appear on TBS. Chuck Lorre’s “Mike & Molly” with Emmy winner Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell is back for its 6th season. And “Mom” (also a Chuck Lorre creation) featuring Emmy winner Allison Janney and Anna Faris returns for its 3rd season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a CBS sitcom that is still holding its breath waiting to hear about a sophomore season is “The Odd Couple” starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon. The mid-season replacement show is waiting to find out if it’s been picked up by CBS. Network favorite “The Big Bang Theory” which is in its 8th season has already been picked up through season 10.
