Bret Easton Ellis Calls Out Hollywood for Being Homophobic

Bret Easton Ellis tweeted out the following:

What started his rant was being shot down as a possible writer for the Fifty Shades of Grey film. At one point he wanted to cast a gay man in the role of Christian Grey, the BDSM loving billionaire from the book, but eventually ruled him out. He had this to say about it:

The only way Fifty Shades of Grey could be of any interest at all is if Bret was involved in it. Unfortunately homophobic Hollywood has kaiboshed the idea.
