The Bonfire Celebrates One Year!

Bonfire1

SiriusXM’s The Bonfire radio show, which airs on its Comedy Central channel, is celebrating a gigantic milestone– their one year anniversary as a satellite radio show. Hosts Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder started The Bonfire exactly one year ago. The first Bonfire aired on July 27, 2015 at 6pm, with what they called a perfect start– 20 minutes of great radio that didn’t make it onto the airwaves, but they fixed the technical problem and ever since, they’ve been killing it with a huge following. They’ve already brought their show on the road to the Moontower Comedy Festival, and now they’re going out in front of a live audience again– to celebrate their one year anniversary.

The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson & Dan Soder’s One Year Anniversary Show will go down at The Village Underground in New York City in front of a live audience on July 19 at 8pm. The anniversary show will air on their exact anniversary, July 27, 2016 at their regular time, 6pm.

Dan and Jay love doing radio every week and are excited to celebrate. The Bonfire invites listeners and friends to come and hang out by the radio bonfire as the blunt and candid duo talk about everything from comedy and entertainment to sports, sharing their funniest stories from the road and giving fans a chance to call in and give their opinions on the topics of the day. It airs live every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm.

The live show will take place Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 8pm at New York City’s The Village Underground. Tickets are free with a 2 item minimum at the table. Request tickets at on.cc.com/BONFIRELIVE and follow @TheBonfireSXM on Social Media for updates.
