Black Jesus Coming To Adult Swim

Adult Swim is now in production on “Black Jesus”, a half-hour live-action scripted comedy from The Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder. The show stars Gerald “Slink” Johnson as Jesus living in present-day Compton, CA. Black Jesus co-stars Charlie Murphy, Corey Holcomb and John Witherspoon. Adult Swim hopes to have the new series out and bothering Fox News’ Megyn Kelley by later this year.
