Bill Murray is one of the stars of Disney’s The Jungle Book and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Friday night with his co-star Neel Sethi. They sang a little of the Jungle Book classic The Bare Necessities for Jimmy Kimmel’s audience and somehow it was both “classic Murray” and “perfect Baloo.”

He also read some poetry and talked about the great Gilda Radner, sharing a life lesson he learned from his SNL castmate. He said Gilda had incredible confidence, and because she grew up wealthy, usually didn’t care whether she got a job or not. He said that her attitude would dazzle people who would feel like they had to have her. So Murray learned to project the attitude that he didn’t care whether he got the job or not, and he learned that from Gilda.
