Bill Burr Talks To NPR About India

Bill Burr has just returned from a huge international tour. It took to places like Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Mumbai, India. He talked to NPR’s Arun Rath about the comedy scene going on in India and what India is like.

After performing in Mumbai, Burr said, “Forget about the – like the level of pollution that’s over there. I mean, I hate saying that because I had such a good time over there. And I really made some good friends. And I don’t want to discourage people from going over there, ’cause it was one of the most amazing cities I’d ever been to. And I basically in my act – been describing that if you basically took like CBGB, that punk rock club – if you turned that into a city, that was the vibe over there”

The next stop for Bill Burr is performing a little closer to home. He’ll be at The Wilbur in Boston for a week in May starting on Saturday, the 9th. Tickets are still available for some shows at TheWilbur.com
