Bill Burr Carnegie Hall Performance Coming Out On Vinyl

For Bill Burr, his 2011 performance at Carnegie Hall was a career milestone. Now thanks to Jack White, fans will get to hear one of the best comedians kill in a legendary building. Comedian Bill Burr is putting out his 2011 performance at New York City’s legendary Carnegie Hall on a brand new LP. Bill Burr’s “Live at Andrew’s House.” It will be available on vinyl on Tuesday, September 30th from White’s Third Man Records.
It was recorded four months before Burr taped his third comedy special You People Are All The Same so it gives fans a unique opportunity to see Burr at his best, but also give a glimpse into what would later become a critically acclaimed set.
For Burr, the release of Live At Andrew’s House is a chance for fans to hear a show that was very dear to him. “As a stand-up comedian, to get to perform at Carnegie Hall is a milestone; so when I found out that I got that gig I knew I wanted to document the performance,” stated Burr. “Most of the material on this album is the same material that eventually became the special You People Are All The Same and I didn’t want to screw over people by putting out two DVD’s with similar material. So this is a special release of that performance that will be on vinyl only.”
There’s also more of Bill Burr to come later this year. His fourth hour long comedy special, “I’m Sorry You Feel That Way” will premiere on Netflix on December 5th. Burr can also be seen in the upcoming movie “Black and White” starring Kevin Costner. And you can always listen to his “Monday Morning Podcast” on iTunes.
Bill Burr is one of the top comedic voices of his generation, making regular appearances on Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman, and Conan O’Brien. He’s also branched out into acting with roles on the TV showsBreaking Bad, The Kroll Show and The New Girl. Burr’s also appeared and such films as Stand Up Guyswith Al Pacino and Christopher Walken; Walk Of Shame with Elizabeth Banks and the forthcoming Kevin Costner project Black And White. Burr also hosts Monday Morning Podcast, which is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts on Itunes. Burr’s fourth comedy special, I’m Sorry You Feel That Way will premiere December 5th on Netflix.
