If you know him, you already love him. You were excited when Big Jay Oakerson first announced his hour special, and you probably flew to New York City to see it taped. And now the big news is out. Big Jay Oakerson’s first one-hour special Big Jay Oakerson: Live at Webster Hall will premiere Friday, June 17 at Midnight ET/PT on Comedy Central.
Taped at the legendary New York City music venue (Webster Hall, obviously), the king of crowd work, and master of the dirty joke will challenge all your squeamishness with his first comedy special. Well worth the wait, Big Jay’s special is raw and honest and full of big doses of his signature crowd work and storytelling—and plenty of dick jokes. No really, there are a LOT Of dick jokes in this special. Too many dick jokes? That depends on your comfort level but we’re totally cool with it.
Just a few months ago, we wrote a profile on Big Jay Oakerson, calling him the next big Comedy Rock Star. Everyone in New York, and plenty of people across the country already know this. June 17th will give the rest of the country a chance to see why we love him and his comedy so much.
