Ben Feldman To Star In New NBC Pilot, “Superstore”
Ben Feldman has scored the lead in the new NBC comedy pilot, “Superstore”. The pilot is a workplace comedy following the lives and relationships of the employees at a Costco like big box store. Deadline reports that Ben will play Jonah who is a new college graduate and has never had a job in the real world. As the new boss, he has to win over his employees and co-workers when his elitist behavior puts him outside the group of work friends.
Ben Feldman is probably best known for his Emmy Award nominated performance as Michael Ginsberg on AMC’s “Mad Men”. He’s also appeared on “The Mindy Project”, “Silicon Valley”, in the film “Cloverfield” and was a regular on “Drop Dead Diva”. Also cast on “Superstore” is Nichole Bloom who will play Cheyenne, the extremely pregnant and naive teenager who also works at the big box store.
The “Superstore” pilot is being written and produced by Justin Spitzer who wrote and produced for “The Office”.
