Barack Obama’s Birthday Party Was Better Than Yours

First Lady Michelle Obama threw the President a 55th birthday party at the White House on Friday. Even though there was a social media blackout on the event, guests reportedly included Beyonce, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, John Legend, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Sarah Jessica Parker, Al Sharpton, Nick Jonas, Vice-President Joe Biden, Jennifer Hudson, Magic Johnson and Alonzo Mourning with performances from Usher and Stevie Wonder. It’s easy to draw that kind of birthday party star power when you’re still the President. Next year, expect the party to be at a local bar with a Nickelback tribute band.
