Amy Schumer Names Baby Gene Attell, Shares Pics With Fans
Congratulations to Amy Schumer and hubby Chris Fischer who welcomed baby Gene Attell on Monday night at 10:55pm. Schumer Instagrammed three photos bookending the birth, first a Monday night photo showing off her “Met Gala” glamour as she was headed to the hospital.
The next morning, 2.3 million people gave likes and well wishes to Schumer after she posted her first public image of the baby who is already comedy royalty, with a royal comedy name to match his instant super celebrity status. The baby was born at 10:55pm Monday May 6th and celebrity congratulations came on Twitter from Jennifer Garner, Sarah Jessica Parker, Loni Love, Ali Wong, Pamela Adlon, Gal Gadot, Mary Steenburgen, Nikki Glaser, Rosanna Arquette, Natasha Lyonne, Judd Apatow, Josh Gondelman, T.J. Miller, Mark Normand, Christi Turlington, Jeff Garlin, Wanda Sykes, and the list goes on and on.
Late last night Schumer posted father and son along with the announcement of his name- Gene Attell Fischer. Michelle Wolf quickly commented, “Already so much like attell ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
