Amy Schumer Was in a Hospital in Hawaii
While most people who have to work in Hawaii spend their non-working hours hiking, on the beach, surfing or enjoying the great food, Amy Schumer spent her time in a hospital.
Monday night on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Schumer told the audience that when she was in Hawaii shooting her next movie with Goldie Hawn, she was so exhausted and sick that she had to stop shooting the movie and spend some time in the hospital. Not only was she exhausted, she developed bronchitis and then to top it off, she coughed so hard she fractured her own ribs. She’s on the mend now, but it was not the best way to spend your time on a beautiful tropical island.
She’s also been out on tour and says she brings her family along with her. Her brother’s Jazz trio opens the show, and she said one of the things she’s loved about touring is having the chance to stump for Hillary. Schumer says it feels like she’s out on the campaign trail.
