American Idol Winner Sues American Idol For His “Oppressive Contract”
American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips has filed a lawsuit against the singing competition show for manipulating him into signing what he calls an oppressive contract. Phillips is citing how 19 Entertainment, the company behind Idol, takes up to 40% of his endorsement deals and has him perform free gigs for certain sponsors.
Next, Phillip Phillips plans to sue his parents for giving him the same name twice.
