American is the latest airline to offer an official apology for violence against a passenger. A mother was allegedly struck by a flight attendant with a baby stroller when he took it from her while she was trying to stow it in the overhead bin. Video was captured of the woman crying while another passenger confronted the very angry flight attendant, who yelled “Hit me.” American said, “What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers. We are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident.”
Meanwhile, United Airlines has just released its new slogan, “Fly United. At Least We Don’t Hit Mommies”.
