Adam Sandler Wanted To Be A Soldier

Adam Sandler was on the Tonight Show Wednesday night, and said until he was 15, it was his dream to join the military. He stopped planning a military career when his father told him one night, “You’re not joining the military, ’cause you’re a pussy.” And so, a comedy star was born.
Sandler’s got a movie premiering on Netflix on Friday – The Do-Over, and he also talked about the big stand up tour he’s doing with David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Norm Macdonald. Sandler said he wrote a whole new act for this tour because it’s been awhile since he’s focused on stand up.
The Do-Over premieres on Netflix, Friday May 27th.
