Adam Sandler Is Getting Huge Critical Love For New Role

Adam Sandler is a hit with critics in the new Noah Baumbach film The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected). The film has scored a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with top critics weighing in at very fresh. Glenn Kenny of the New York Times calls him a “revelation” with a near perfect balance between engagement and discomfort. The Village Voice says “Seriously, Adam Sandler Triumphs” in the film, and Variety calls it the “Best Netflix film to date.” The Wrap headlined their review “Wow, Adam Sandler Might Actually Belong in Cannes” and Time calls the film proof that there’s a good Adam Sandler. Indiewire says the film is Baumbach’s best thanks to a great Sandler performance, and there’s plenty of praise for Dustin Hoffman.

These are just slightly different reviews than Adam got for Sandy Wexler. Just slightly.

Writer-Director Noah Baumbach’s The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) stars Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson. The film won raves at Cannes and will be released by Netflix tomorrow, October 13th.
