Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer Talk Broad City on Kimmel
Two of the funniest women on tv, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer showed up on Kimmel last night wearing top hats, tails and carrying canes. They almost showed up in fantastic dresses, but thank god came to their senses and went “old hollywood charm” instead. That is if Jim Carey and Owen Wilson are the embodiment of “old hollywood charm”. It’s the perfect solution when you don’t want to match…but you don’t want to not match.
Abbi and Ilana talked about their awesome and critically acclaimed show, Broad City on Comedy Central.The girls are very sweet in addition to being incredibly funny, and talk about how surprising and amazing it is to be getting great reviews. They discuss whose name comes first in the credits– it’s complicated. Spoiler alert, they also talk about deciding to do this week’s episode singing, butt naked. Abbi says they write so far in advance, that its easy to write things that are hilarious without thinking about the fact that they will have to be the ones performing it. For example, knowing they’ll have to get naked in front of their entire staff.
