A Wet Hot American Contest to Win a Huge Wet Hot American Prize

Starting today and all this weekend, we are celebrating all things Camp Firewood and the Netflix release of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.  The original “Wet Hot American Summer” took place at Camp Firewood in 1981 on the last day of camp. The Netflix prequel series takes place on the first day of camp.  All eight episodes hit Netflix live on Friday July 31 so we’re just hours away.  The entire cast of  the 2001 Summer camp comedy are back, including director David Wain along with a long list of very funny people who didn’t appear in the original.  Get ready for origin stories galore.

Part of our weekend celebration of the return of WHAS includes your chance to win a copy of the original Wet Hot American Summer DVD signed by most of the cast.  We’ve got Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black, Ken Marino, Janeane Garofalo, Judah Friedlander, Elizabeth Banks and Molly Shannon.
