Pixies Drop New Bassist

The Pixies have parted ways with new bassist Kim Shattuck, just a few months after she replaced Kim Deal. Shuttuck posted on her Twitter & Facebook pages that while she’s ‘super disappointed’ that she’s out of the band, she said her time with The Pixies was an ‘amazing experience’. She also added ‘looking forward to focusing my attention back on the Muffs and our upcoming new album. All the best to everyone.”
No word yet on who will replace Shattuck.
