When shooting “Rushmore”, Wes needed cash for a helicopter shot, so Bill Murray dipped into his own pocket so the scene could happen. Wes never cashed the check and still has it to this day. Unfortunately we’ll never know how good Rushmore could of been since there wasn’t a helicopter shot.
