CBGB Movie Soundtrack List Released

The soundtrack for the upcoming film about CBGB and its founder Hilly Krystal is going to kick some serious ass. It will feature classic tracks from bands who cut their teeth at the legendary club (Talking Heads, Blondie, The Police, Television, Richard Hell, The Dead Boys, The Dictators, Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers), alongside garage rock classics and punk influences (Velvet Underground, MC5, The Stooges, The Count Five). The soundtrack will be out on October 8th. ‘CBGB’, starring Alan Rickman as Krystal, opens in select cities on October 11th.
