Days Without An NFL Player Arrest Warrant? Back To Zero
A arrest warrant has been issued for San Francisco 49ers’ linebacker Ahmad Brooks on possible assault charges. Brooks is accused of attacking his teammate, nose tackle Lamar Divens. Brooks allegedly hit Divens with a beer bottle three times and then punched him in the face during an argument over car keys, causing a 3-inch laceration to his forehead. The alleged incident occurred in front of Brooks’ home early on June 8. The NFL almost made it a week without a player in trouble with the law. On Saturday, Colts’ safety Joe Lefeged was arrested on multiple gun charges. At least the Niners are keeping their crimes in house.
