“Payroll Cards” are carrying huge fees that are costing employees big penalties on their earnings. Taco Bell, Walgreen and Walmart are just a few of the companies paying employees using Payroll Cards, apparently because they are cheaper for the companies than issuing checks. Why stop there when you can just give your employees a gift card to Chili’s and a few coupons?
