WaPo Columnist In Tattoo Debate

Jason Reid wrote a column for the Washington Post, and it’s gathered some controversy. In his article, Reid suggests the Wizards should consider John Wall’s tattoos before giving the point guard a huge payday, which he revealed on his own Instagram. Reid has since clarified his article was not focused on Wall’s tattoos themselves, but on his belief it’s a “flip-flop” from comments made before his 2010 Draft, in which Wall stated he didn’t have tattoos because he wanted a “clean cut” image for marketing purposes. In Reid’s opinion, that makes Wall questionable as a franchise player.
