Transgender 6-Year-Old Wins Civil Rights Case

Coy Mathis, a transgender girl (previously identifying as a boy) in Colorado, filed a civil rights complaint against her elementary school after being banned from use of the girl’s bathroom. The Colorado Civil Rights division ruled in favor of Mathis yesterday, and she celebrated by voraciously eating a sandwich made on a traditional gender roll.
