World Rape Capital Shuts Down Comedy Central

Comedy Central India has been suspended for 10 days after a court ruled it aired programming which was deemed derogatory towards women.
Their official reason was they broadcast “obscene dialog and vulgar words derogatory of women and hence appeared to offend good taste and decency. The portrayal in the program did not appear suitable for unrestricted public exhibition and children.”
Meanwhile, women can’t take public transportation in India without fear of being gang raped.
