Lesbian Love Story Wins Cannes Film Festival

Cannes Film Festival ended up giving the Palme d’Or (top prize) to the three hour lesbian romance Blue is the Warmest Colour, which also happens to be based on a comic book called Blue Angel. So comic book movie fans have something to look forward to this award season. The Coen Brothers came in second for Inside Llewyn Davis, and Berenice Bejo (the adorable actress from The Artist) and 70s icon Bruce Dern won best acting honors.
