Chilean TV Show Apologizes After Puppet Says “Jews Burned Better Than Wood”

The Jewish Community of Chile is furious, and considering a lawsuit after a puppet named Murdock the Lizard made the holocaust related joke on a national tv show.
“We profoundly regret the words uttered by [Escobedo] on Monday, May 20, in his humorous routine,” a spokesperson for Chilevision said. “Never in the station’s 52 years has it been in our interest to foment acts of racism or discrimination. We hope our apologies will be accepted.”
